Remember this?
That not so cute owl plack. Well i knew what i was going to do with it when i saw it laying on the ground at a yard sale. It was only .25 cents. And that uglyfied thing was going to be turned into something beautified for my little girl. Yesterday i searched thru all my scrapbook papers (i don't scrapbook but i do enjoy picking out some of the papers for other projects...i have a friend that scrapbooks and she is AWESOME...one day i want to be a scrapbooker just like her! :o) ) I found a print that would look good in her room. Colored toile in shades of pink and green and brown. I had gotten some wooden letters at HL awhile back for this project. So i got those out and started painting on those. I tried lots of different colors but they seemed to disappear on the print i picked out. So i went with a bright green. I had some Ribbon left over from a previous project that i really thought would go well. Grabbed my Modge-Podge and glue gun and sat down to start and this is what i made......
A bow holder!!!!!
Isn't is just as sweet as can be? I was so happy with the way it turned out. :o)
My daughter has so many bows that they all didn't fit! Most of witch i have made her. One day i will post a tutorial on Boutique style hair bows. I do sell bows too so if you see one you like or have a color in mind email me for pricing. ;-)
Well another yard sale find BEAUTIFIED!! :)

LOOOOOOVE that bow holder....As you can imagine with threeeee girls we have a ton of bows and the little ribbons that you buy at WalMart are just not big enough! I love this idea!
Your living room pics look great too! I just love following all of your craft projects. Can I show Mom so she can follow too?
you sure can! :)
