This next set is pretty...but less fancy than the first set. Good feel and not cheap looking either. This set is at Walmart and is only $35.00 for a set of 4. I really like the cups and bowls in this set. Tuesday, January 25, 2011
Undecided ~
Now that we have our kitchen remodel underway i have been thinking about NEW Dinnerware! I want something white and "fancy"! :o) Ya know something traditional and southern. I have found a few that i like but these two sets are my favorite. AND the prices aren't to shabby either. This first set i found at Target. It is on sale right now for $55.00 for a setting of 4...and i will need 2 or 3 sets. They are really heavy weight...nothing cheap about them at all. The picture doesn't even do it justice. GAW-jus!

The 1st one is beautiful but I can't imagine having to try and get stuck on food out of all those little crevasses.
The 2nd looks more antique - I think guests would probably wonder if it was your grandmothers china set.
I agree with mayers. I love the 2nd one because it does look antique and like you, I like bowls and cups with the 2nd one.
SECOND ONE! And when I come visit you can serve me using them! ;)
The top one is VERY southern! the bottome piece looks more 'timeless' to me for some reason....
oh ladies....THANK YOU for your input! i was leaning toward the second from walmart too. ya know sometimes you just need a push in the right direction. :o) come on down for a visit...i would be happy to serve any of you ladies ANYTIME! ummmm...just wait till i have a working kitchen...hehe! i'm suffering from "CHAOS" (can't have anyone over syndrome) right now.
